Delicate and creamy, subtly tangy – and so unbelievably fruity. Thanks to its silky-smooth consistency, without any pieces and seeds, our Rosehip Preserve is particularly easy to spread. Heavenly intensive in taste. It was a vitamin bomb on our ancestors’ breakfast tables, which made the sun come out even when it was raining. Home-grown, natural and strong in character. Even then, people knew what really was good for them.

Our Rosehip Preserve is produced in accordance with an old family recipe and Maintal is the market leader in Germany for this speciality with 59.6%. Its secret is hidden in its originality. It has remained a wild fruit to this day, and is collected by hand from hedges, edge of the forest or bushes in the age-old tradition. The sun-ripened rosehips are picked by hand and are deep-frozen immediately following harvesting. They are then caringly and lovingly processed in our family company.

Many delicious uses are possible! Maintal Rosehip Preserve is not a delicious taste to just enjoy at breakfast, but it can also be enjoyed as a tasty addition to muesli, quark (curd cheese) and yoghurt or as a filling for sweet baked goods. It gives meat and sauces a pleasant tangy freshness. It is also fantastic in fruit glazes, fruit sauces and shakes.
